All my USB sticks are formatted FAT32...I've had an issue where when I am trying to eject a USB drive I get an error message telling me the drive is in use or it gets ejected but not completely. I tracked this down to Everything writing to the drive.
I have had to close Everything and stop it in the task manager before being able to eject.
I see in the newest nightly build that you have included ' Everything to hang onto a volume handle when trying to safely remove a device' does this solve that problem?
Safely removing USB drive
Re: Safely removing USB drive
It's highly likely it will fix your issue, would you mind trying Everything 844b and letting me know if it works for you?
Re: Safely removing USB drive
It appears that everything is still locking the USB...I still have to close everything to eject the drive.
Re: Safely removing USB drive
What version of Everything are you using Harryray2?
