I cannot work out if it is possible, and if so how, to index my Samsung Galaxy 7.7 tablet connected to my computer by USB. The tablet file structure can be opened in Windows Explorer, and I can do all the normal functions such as copy files, move files etc. However, no file utility, including Everything, appears to be able to search within these folders.
I have attempted to add the device to the folders to be indexed, but nothing happens when I click "Add". This is the case whether I add the entire device, or individual folders within it.
I am running Windows 7 64 Home Premium, and Everything Version 1.3.4.686 (x64)
Indexing Tablet connected to PC
Re: Indexing Tablet connected to PC
Unfortunately, no.
Everything will not index these 'virtual folders' or 'shell folders'.
Indexing 'shell folders' / 'virtual folders' is on my TODO list.

Thanks for the reply. At least it is nice to know that it is on the TODO list, and that I had not missed something obvious.
