Hi David and thank you for this great tool.
I have the problem that Everything doesn't add an USB NTSF volume for whatever reason.
I have run a check disk on the volume and it found no errors.
I have added and removed the disk several times to no avail.
Even running an Advanced Search specifing the location to search didn't solve the problem.
I updated to the latest Beta but it didn't sort the issue either.
I am on Windows 10 Professional x64 and I am running Everything 1.4.1.809b x64
Thank you
Missing USB Drive
Re: Missing USB Drive
Open - Tools - Options - and the tab NTFS - select: "Automatically include new removable volumes" and check again.
Re: Missing USB Drive
Thank you for your tip but that option was already selected.salazor wrote:Open - Tools - Options - and the tab NTFS - select: "Automatically include new removable volumes" and check again.
Re: Missing USB Drive
Is the USB drive listed in Everything:
If it is, please make sure Include in database is checked.
If not, could you please send some debug information:
- In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click the NTFS tab on the left.
- Is the USB drive listed in the Local NTFS volumes lists?
If it is, please make sure Include in database is checked.
If not, could you please send some debug information:
- In Everything 809b, type in the following search and press ENTER:
/debug - In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click the NTFS tab on the left.
- What is displayed in the debug console?

No the disk is not listed in the NTSF panel so I started the debug console and it's been going for a while processing "usn" records: should I let it going?
Anyway it still doesn't list the missing disk for what I could glance.
Thank you
Re: Missing USB Drive
Could you please send the file system information for this NTFS volume:
- From a Command prompt (Win + R -> cmd)
- Enter in the following command:
fsutil fsinfo ntfsinfo d:
where d: is the NTFS volume in question. - What is displayed in the command prompt?
