keeps insisting I put a disk into a drive
keeps insisting I put a disk into a drive
Greetings, This may be a stupid problem, but it is a problem at the lease. I'm using the 1407 version of Everything. But I keep getting a popup window stating "There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive \Device\harddisk9\DR9." How do I tell it to only scan hard drives, not cd/dvd drives? I tried to exclude them but it does not solve the problem.
Re: keeps insisting I put a disk into a drive
Could you please send the debug output when opening your NTFS options page:
- In Everything, Press Ctrl + `
- In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click the NTFS tab
- What is displayed in the debug console?
- Is this \Device\harddisk9\DR9 volume listed in the Local NTFS list?
Re: keeps insisting I put a disk into a drive
Same problem here, when I remove my USB keys and restart everything (have to close everything to be able to eject key) Everything keeps asking me for the ejected drives. I have to go to options to remove the drive letters to stop this.
Re: keeps insisting I put a disk into a drive
I couldn't get the debug to start up so I just went back to ver 1.2.1.3.71. Works again. ))
Re: keeps insisting I put a disk into a drive
It does seem to work with the older version but I want to keep the up to date Everything...It's too brilliant to revert to an older version'
Re: keeps insisting I put a disk into a drive
Also When I remove a USB drive the results stay even after a resacan, I have to manually remove the drives from the options menu. My USB drives are formatted as Fat32

- Uncheck Automatically index new fixed volumes.
