Re-index after (dis)connecting external drive

Hi, every time after I connect or disconnect an external usb-drive, Everything will re-index my complete system. Due to large disks with a lot of data, this takes several minutes.
I already excluded the drive letter, but no luck.
Is there something else I can do?

Please try the Everything 1.4 beta, re-indexing is faster.

To exclude this drive:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the NTFS tab.
• Uncheck Auto include fixed volumes.
• Uncheck Auto include removable volumes.
• Click OK.
