Funny. Somthing has changed in Everything. I'm running Windows 7 PRO SP1 (up to the latest updates).
I'm running Everything in Autostart I was used to confirm a yellow alert box popping up and asking to confirm Everything to run under Adminitrator privileges.
Today I started my computer again but that box didn't appear.
Instead, another privilege raising dialog pops up when I start ET interactively from the task bar.
I never saw this dialog before. And the yellow privilege elevation dialog, which automatically appeared at start time, doesn't appear any longer.
BTW, does "indexing of NTFS" volumes mean, that the file contents is indexed or just a directory an index on the directories/files is created?

- Click Apply.
- Check Everything service.
- Click Apply.
- Uncheck Run as administrator.
- Click OK.

Actually I didn't want to run ET as a service. Do you now recommend to run it as a service?
Just would like to get back ET's previous behaviour.
