namepartdupe: Results Are Vanishing?
Not sure just what is going on?
Had a search: sandy private !.lnk
Then I added a namepartdupe: to it.
> sandy private !.lnk namepartdupe:
It came up with 3 files:
sandy private.txt
sandy private.doc
sandy private beaches oceanfront.html
First thing I noticed is that the highlighting was odd.
sandy private.txt was highlighted as expected, but
sandy private.doc was not?
I wanted to deal with those two files separately, so opened a new Everything window, &, &, not sure... & also went on to something else, but when I came back to the original window: sandy private !.lnk namepartdupe:, only one of the "sandy private.*" files displayed (along with sandy private beaches oceanfront.html) , yet all 3 still existed.
So then I tried the same search in a new Everything window.
Same, just the two.
Then i created a new file, "sandy private new.txt", & that did show up.
And then I've been trying to figure out just what is going on, but not making heads or tail on it.
But I can say, results do seem to be disappearing.

namepartdupe: Results Are Vanishing?
Re: namepartdupe: Results Are Vanishing?
Thanks for the detailed bug report.
There was an issue where namepartdupe: was not finding duplicated name parts at all.
Should be fixed in 781b:
http://www.voidtools.com/Everything-1.4.1.781b.x86.zip
http://www.voidtools.com/Everything-1.4.1.781b.x64.zip
When the second to last dupe is deleted, the last remaining name part dupe will not be highlighted. Highlighting is real-time, the result list for namepartdupe: is not.
