And just what are you looking for in regards to "portable"?

sorry - I did not see the message. (I had not subscribed the topic ... )
But as I created a PortableApps-Stick for my daily work, it would be very helpful, to have this integrated in the platform.

The ZIP-Files are my workaround for the moment.

The zip file and its installation is completely self-contained !
There is nothing outside the installation dir.
A portable apps installation would be nothing more and simply adds a shortcut to start it.

Yes - I know. For convinience, this would be helpful and I think this is not too much work.
If you don't want, leave it.
I think this would be nice to have and would support the knowledge of this wonderful tool.
