Failed connect to FTP server

Good Day,

I am new to this forum and I am not good at programming. But I have moderate knowledge about FTP and HTTP server. I gone thorough the support. Unfornately I failed to connect to server.

Could some confirm, Does Everything allows me to search Files/Folders that I have uploaded online server?
Does anyone having the FTP username and password, can connect to that server and download or view files in that FTP server?
Can I also use this software to use in LAN connected group of computer, May be it is called Mapped network Drive....

Explanation with images is greatly appreciated.

If the online server is a FTP/HTTP server, then no.
Everything does not index FTP / HTTP servers.

If you are using the Everything FTP server, then yes, any one with the username and password can connect to your Everything FTP server to view or download files.

To index mapped network drive, use folder indexing:

• In "Everything", from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the Folders tab.
• Click Add....
• Select the mapped network drive.
• Click OK.
• Click OK.

How can I register for Everything FTP server?

To start an FTP server in Everything:

• In "Everything", from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the ETP/FTP tab.
• Check Enable ETP/FTP server.
• Set a username and password (or leave blank to allow anonymous access)
• Click OK.

How safe is my files safe at Everything FTP server?

ETP/FTP clients can search and download any file indexed with Everything.
Limit your indexes as much as possible.
The Everything FTP server is recommended for media servers only.
