bug: text Name is lost/covered in preview mode

In everything, 1.4.0.705b (x64) in preview mode my searched files are covered when I change in the preview mode. When I use the mouse or the keyboard, the line is covered with white color.

When I switch back, the lines are coming back, line by line.

I think this is a little bug, but the preview ist GREAT

This is a known bug and will be fixed for the next beta update.

David, is there a page we can go to to find the latest betas (and/or stable releases)? I managed to stumble upon Everything v1.4.0.707b (64-bit) only by digging around through the Support Forums. I like to always have the most current beta and stable releases. Thanks.

705b is the latest official beta.

706b/707b/708b releases have a few issues with the ReFS indexer that is currently being worked on.

The Announcements forum will be reserved for major, minor and revision releases.

To enable beta update notification in Everything:

• Completely Exit Everything.
• Open your %APPDATA%\Everything\Everything.ini.
• Change the following line:

  Code: Select all

  beta_updates=0

  to:

  Code: Select all

  beta_updates=1

• Save changes and restart Everything.
• In "Everything", from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the General tab.
• Check Check for updates on startup.
• Click OK.
