Everything with 2 users with very different rights

Post by mulanee »

Hello,
I am very found of "everything".
I just performed the updated installation to Windows 1, but issue is not related to that, I think.
I'm the only one (almost) usert on this PC as admin user.
I only created another user for sharing local device (scanner) with other people of my family.
This user must have very limited access to all files on this computer, only guest's home directory.

How can I manage everything setup in order to launch "everything" at each boot so that I can have access to all files and guest has limited access, even not being able to launch it?
Thank you.

Everything is an admin tool, it indexes all files, even files you may not have access to.

Please disable the Everything service if you do not want local guest and limited access accounts to index all your files.

To use Everything without the service you will need to run Everything as an administrator.
You will need to use folder indexing with the guest / limited access accounts.
