Every once in a while Everything opens with no files listed, just an empty window, and a re-start of Windows is necessary to make Everything work correctly.
Can anything be done about this other than re-starting?
I don't know if this helps, but when Everything runs normally its window can be closed by hitting Escape, but when its not running correctly, as described, Escape doesn't close it, ALT-SPACEBAR-C is necessary.
I have "Start Everything on system startup" checked.

A Quit (Exit) & restart of Everything is not sufficient?

Thanks, therube
Exiting and re-running Everything does the trick, as you suggested.
Oddly, it doesn't work if I try to re-run by using my AutoHotKey keyboard macro, I've got to use Windows Start and type in "Search Everything". Go figure.
Maybe I'll try a WinHotKey macro instead of the AutoHotKey macro, maybe that'll work.
