Everything was working beautifully this afternoon. Now it's not working at all.
It won't search for even the most basic terms. I've tried to uninstall several times but it timed out. I've tried to download another version but it timed out.
Can anyone help? I love using this search facility.

Please try running the Task Manager and closing any existing Everything.exe
processes.
To run the Task Manager, please press Ctrl + Shift + ESC.
Click the Processes (or Details tab in Windows 8+) tab.
Select Everything.exe and click End process.
Click End process.
Repeat until all Everything.exe processes have been ended.
Please try reinstalling Everything once all the existing processes have been
ended.

Check your Search (menu-item) filters.
You may have inadvertently enabled a filter that is thwarting your search efforts.
