Can't delete files

I have been trying without success to delete leftover files from IOBIT, after uninstalling it. I receive the error message "can't delete because this file is open in Everything". Could not delete directly from Windows either.

Exit Everything completely before attempting the file deletions (make sure Everything's process is not running).

Was the IOBIT file opened from Everything?

Try Process Explorer to forcible close any open handles.
