not able to search in external hard drive or pen drive
i am using external hard drive and pen drive and i am not able to search any data in that drive.

I've only just started to use Everything Search, so may mislead...
If your external drive is not NTFS formatted, it's probably FAT32, and I still don't know if Everything searches FAT32.
However, if it's NTFS, then read on:
If standard Windows 7/8 search has not indexed a container, it will still troll through the contents and build a 'found' list in real time, but unlike Windows (AFIK), Everything doesn't present results until it has indexed the container you want to search. And by default Everything only indexes fixed local volumes.
So to get it to search external drives or network shares, hit CTRL-P or choose menu Tools>Options, and in the Everything Options window that's presented, under: Indexes - NTFS, tick the box that says 'Auto include new removable volumes'.
