I have the ini option to check for beta updates but either it takes more time to detect that new version exist or if there is small update(can't think of the right word),everything won't detect it.
For example,I'm using 1.3.4.680b and I'm checking for update 1 hour after the release of 681b.
When I try to update, everything says that I have the latest version.
And about the question...how about suggesting to download the latest beta and replace the old one(without the need to come to the site, download it and replace the old one)
Question and suggestion about updating
Re: Question and suggestion about updating
The update info is read from http://www.voidtools.com/everything/beta-update.iniI have the ini option to check for beta updates but either it takes more time to detect that new version exist or if there is small update(can't think of the right word),everything won't detect it.

I forgot to update it, sorry.
It should work now.
I'll consider fully automated updating. And about the question...how about suggesting to download the latest beta and replace the old one(without the need to come to the site, download it and replace the old one)
Re: Question and suggestion about updating
Yes it does,thanks
Re: Question and suggestion about updating
Using Everything 867b. Checking for updates shows no updates available. Current beta available is .873b Beta
I have beta_updates=1 in the ini file.
This is probably because http://www.voidtools.com/everything/beta-update.ini is still showing 867?

DRS

Re: Question and suggestion about updating
There's no real notable changes from 867 to 873.
873 is mostly 867 compiled in "release" mode.
For a list of changes for 873, please see:
