Version 1.3.4.666b (x86).
If the name of an item in the result contains an environment variable, e.g.:
a_%tmp%.txt
%AppData%_bkp.zip
The item and its path can not be open by double clicking.
DPI issue on icons:
I'm using 120 DPI.
The icons on the left are what Everything displays.
The ones on the right are what look they should be:

Language:
My User Default is not English. But I use English (US). And I'm not going to remove Everything.lng .
Every time after Everything.exe is updated, the Language goes to User Default.

Re: Dbl-Click; DPI; Language
Thanks for the bug reports.
Everything was expanding the filename twice.
In 667b, the Everything Setup will attempt to read the language from a previous install. (Everything must be previously installed with %APPDATA% setting enabled for this to work.)

You will need to use 96 DPI for 1:1 icons or adjust the zoom in Everything with Ctrl + + and Ctrl + - when the result list has focus (or from the View -> Zoom menu).DPI issue on icons:

Re: Dbl-Click; DPI; Language
Let me dwell on DPI issue a little more.
See the new image:

v1.2.1.442a doesn't have this issue.
I think, at least, when the Default Font/Size are used, the icons should look same as in Windows Explorer.

BTW, could anyone introduce some good free image hosting sites?
Please PM me if it's not allowed to talk about this here. Thank you!

Re: Dbl-Click; DPI; Language
I have made some changes to the vertical spacing for the next update.
I want to keep the stretching in 667b as this is what it should look like with higher DPI.
Unfortunately, the stretching is visually awful on XP. So I may still do something about that.
I recommend you zoom out so the icons are 1:1 and use a larger font.
This will look identical to Everything 1.2.1.442a.
